The Seminole Trail Ladies Auxiliary held a very successful fund raiser at the Chick-Fil-A restaurant located at Rt. 29 N and Woodbrook Drive.

Engine 81 ran its first official call at 1851 hours on Monday March 31, 2008. E Crew was on duty and ran Engine 81 in place of Engine 85 for a reported car fire on Seminole Trail in front of the Charlottesville Post Office.

March 23, 2008

B Crew spent much of their weekend working on the renovation of the Station 8 kitchen.

A housing ceremony for new Engine 81 was held today at Seminole Trail VFD. Approximately 100 people were in attendance including local citizens, officials from Albemarle County government, fire brigade members, career staff, as well as many of our charter and life members.

The 3rd Annual Walker Sisk Truck Company Basics School will be held on March 29th and 30th as part of the Albemarle County Department of Fire/Rescue Regional School.

Catherine (Cat) and Dean Rafferty are the proud parents of their newborn daughter, Arabelle Mae Rafferty. Arabelle was born at 1:29 pm today weighing in at 8lbs. 2oz. Dad reports the delivery went very well and they are all doing great!!! Congratulations Dean and Cat and welcome to Arabelle (A crews newest little member)!
