Engine 81 catches its first official run

Engine 81 ran its first official call at 1851 hours on Monday March 31, 2008. E Crew was on duty and ran Engine 81 in place of Engine 85 for a reported car fire on Seminole Trail in front of the Charlottesville Post Office. Before arriving ECC advised the caller pulled their car into the parking lot of the post office. Upon arrival they reported nothing showing in investigative mode. They found a burst radiator hose and marked the incident under control. We anticipate moving Engine 81 to first due later in the week.
