STVFD assists Hollymead with townhouse fire

E121,E81,TO88,E41,HM47
E81 and TO88 assisted Hollymead units on the scene of a report of fire in kitchen in the Briarwood Subdivision. ACFR BC10 arrived reporting heavy black smoke showing from side Delta of a two story townhouse. E121 and M121 arrived just moments later and established a water supply from a nearby hydrant. At this point there was heavy involvement of the entire kitchen with extension into the hallway as well as fire showing from the delta window. E121 pulled an attack line to the front door as E81 and TO88 arrived. E81 pulled a backup line to side alpha and TO88 crew was assigned search and ventilation of the second floor. E41 arrived and took RIT. E121 achieved a quick knockdown and searched the first floor with help from E81. Units made quick work of the fire and after overhaul were in service. The fire is under investigation by ACFR Fire Marshals.
One minor injury to a firefighter was reported.
