Engine 81 and Engine 85 assisted Monticello Fire/Rescue on a trailer fire in on Leaf Ct Sunday morning. Upon arrival the trailer was well involved. Units remained on scene until 12:50. Engine 5 made an initial attack with their handline and made entry with Engine 111 pulling the backup line to the rear door. Engine 81 relieved Engine 5 and continued to mop up hot spots. All companies assisted with the investigation and overhaul. Unfortunately, the trailer suffered significant fire and smoke damage and is uninhabitable. The family is being assisted by the Red Cross.
